I truly understand. It's up to you; the only trouble with including every single example of the Font it could become a monster with a life of its own. Then take over the world. Shudder. Seekonk is about a stone's throw from where we live now. If we want to go to the land of strip malls, plus a town with an awesome name, while at the same time visiting a whole 'nother state, why, we just head on over to the 'Konk.

Nothing like knitting-themed double entendres to lift one's spirits! And thanks for submitting the photographs, by the way. What were you doing in Seekonk, though? Just...browsing?

The only reason I'm restricting uploads to include only geographically locatable occurrences is that I want them to all dot the map; however, with Papyrus' surfeit, perhaps it would make sense to have a separate gallery where pictures of websites and the like could be placed. What do you think?

I didn't add this to your sightings on the Plague page because it's from a website, but it is a marketed product that bears the proud Font.

http://www.scoutsswag.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=21_69

Plus, it uses the clever pun "Knitters Rule," which describes not only the knitting needle size gauge/ruler, but one of the fundamental facts of the Universe.

Thanks Heather! If you want to, you're welcome to rev up your linguistic side and tell me how to contextually determine which part of speech a particular word is. I think that's the key to getting the program to churn out more sensible sentences.

Heather, I am sorry for my inaccurate description of Necco wafers. Though I must say (not without a touch of hesitation) that your rewording isn't quite on the spot either; namely, Necco wafers aren't sweet--they're chalky and gross and I hate them and hate them.

Ian, Necco wafers are not savory. They are sweet. Plus your teeth don't sink into them. Unless they've been next to a humidifier for a long time. I just felt that in the interest of journalistic integrity you ought to make that clarification.

[...] NYC / Books NYC / Books June 23rd, 2008 Last week I had the face-melting pleasure of visiting the grand old city of New York, New York. It was incredible, and I’d have stayed much longer than a day had I the time. There’s hardly a drought of NYC vacation logs on the Internet, so I’ll spare the ramblings about the skyscrapers and Lady Liberty; but I must at least say this: Mars 2021, despite being both a delicious and fun restaurant, smacks of a fancied-up Chuck E. Cheese. Something more interesting than [...]
